The family PINOT had various liaisons with the family DE ST REMY. In
collaboration with my correspondant and possible cousin Olivier Pinot de
Villechenon we set out below the Genealogy of the family de St Remy. We
had hoped it will assist us in demonstrating and confirming the links between
the various branches of the family PINOT via their liaisons. There
seems no doubt, that although the Pinot family lost their papers when
their fortified Manor House was destroyed and burnt during the religious
wars, that the family were of ancient origin and occupied properties covering
a fairly extensive area, a sure sign of an ancient family. We would
welcome any additions, corrections or fuller details on this family, if you
can help do write.
